Her father Khalilur Rahman is a big influence in her life. Spontaneously her father believed she would do well in the performing arts as well.

Shuva's paintings explore abstract concepts of nature and deconstructs it by using heavy brush strokes and strong colors. She is most inspired by traveling the world and reflecting them back on the canvas. Her art is her therapy. Even in her darkest times, she picks up her brush and paints every bit of her soul through her fingertips.

Mythic like landscapes is the primary concentration of her painting subject and narratives. Forest trees, vines, blue sky, lakes, and mountains cover the scenes. Through the use of a thickly developed impasto technique, pportions of profiled figures sometimes emerge while leaning on abstract backgrounds.

Her travels to various historical and traditional places around the world influence the content of the work. Shuva's active mind is always thirsty for new found experiences.
